The stream running through the gorge springs from a small valley and, further down, joins the Ammorema ravine, to flow together into the Aliakmonas.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The route starts from the upper square of Nestorio and follows the roads that served the helipad. We descend the natural steps towards the beautiful waterfall and the Megalo Kazanaki pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a makeshift bridge over the ravine<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The route runs sometimes on top of and sometimes between the sandstone layers, and passing a &#8220;crown&#8221; of conglomerate rocks (Vranje location), it drops quickly towards the exit of the gorge and comes out onto the Nestorio\u2013Gramos asphalt road, near the entrance to the River feature of the gorge is that it opens up within a fault of the area&#8217;s sandstone strata. The route makes use of the ledges created by the rock strata<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ravine&#8217;s pools were once the summer &#8220;playground&#8221; of the children of Pano Nestorio (Upper Nestorio), who called them &#8220;kazanakia&#8221; \u2014 meaning small cauldrons \u2014 Kazantzine in the &#8220;higher&#8221; Nestorio dialect.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-pale-cyan-blue-background-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h5 id=\"\u03b5\u03c0\u03b9\u03c3\u03b7\u03bc\u03ac\u03bd\u03c3\u03b5\u03b9\u03c2\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Remarks<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The route is well marked.
